Trees and Gardens: A Complex Relationship
Mark Laurence explores the complex relationships between trees, gardens, people, ecosystems and climate. Trees are not just ornaments, nor are they a nuisance to work around; they are essential elements in the health of planet and people. Trees are ecosystem generators or holobionts, an assemblage of a host and the many other species that depend upon it. Mark will discuss how to create ecologically adaptive, emotionally rich treescapes and gardens.
