Marian Barker opened the doors to FHC (formerly Andersplus) 21 years ago after a career in the city. Having survived recession, a global banking crisis and now Brexit combined with Covid we are looking to the future with all the obstacles this involves.
Post-Brexit and Covid the recruitment landscape has fundamentally changed from the heady days when we could turn to a constant supply of Antipodeans and or Europeans to plug gaps and fill vacancies.
Over the years Marian has become increasingly passionate about horticulture and, with her son working in the industry, has an unrivalled insight into the demands and challenges facing the landscaping world today.
FHC are investing time and resources to bring fresh talent into the industry by visiting colleges and attending recruitment days whenever we can as well as sourcing new advertising platforms to source staff.
