BIO
Joe is an accomplished Landscape Designer with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Based in East Sussex, he runs his own successful Landscape Design practice, leading a team of designers. Joe’s team and the gardens they create all share the same ethos of being adaptable and sensitive to the context and character of the space and to maximise people’s enjoyment of and connection to nature.
Joe’s extensive career spans a decade managing a prominent landscape construction company, as well as 15 years working on high-profile garden installations, including at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show and other RHS events.
He has recently earned recognition for his exceptional work, winning two Gold Medals at the Chelsea Flower Show and the Horticultural Excellence Award at the Shenzhen Flower Show in 2023.
Joe’s formal qualifications include a Post-Graduate diploma in residential garden design and a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. As a Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers (MSGD), he brings expert design, project management, and construction knowledge to every commission.
In addition to his professional practice, Joe is currently training to become a Judge for the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), furthering his commitment to excellence in landscape design.
